Overview / Responsibilities

Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is currently seeking a Vogtle Concrete Technician to perform field inspections and observations for industrial constitution in Waynesboro, GA.


Key Responsibilities 


  • Perform sampling and testing of Portland cement concrete in strict accordance with ASTM standards
  • Read and interpret project designs and specifications to determine what tests are required
  • Clearly completely and accurately document the testing performed
  • Strict adherence to all safety and environmental regulation
  • Client interaction on a daily basis

Skills / Qualifications

  • ACI Concrete Strength technician (preferred)
  • ACI Concrete Field Technician, Level 1
  • NICET certified (preferred)
  • Laboratory technician experience (asphalt, soil, aggregate, concrete, masonry preferred)
  • Must have and maintain required certifications to perform appropriate inspections
  • Must have a good driving record
  • Construction Sites and Field Work based atmosphere on a daily basis.
  • ACI Field technician grade I Certification
  • ICC Certifications- Any applicable
  • Ability to follow Construction Site Safety Precautions
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to clearly communicate, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to flexible hours and willing to work some weekends and overtime as needed
  • Requires the ability to walk around construction sites, climb ladders, platforms and carry test equipment
  • Must be able to pass drug screen
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
