Overview / Responsibilities

Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from Quality Assurance Representatives who are US Citizens to support construction projects in the Florida and Alabama region.  Project locations will be on military bases and/or U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) facilities these areas.

 

The Quality Assurance Representative will support ongoing construction projects for the USACE South Atlantic Division. The Quality Assurance Representative will provide support on various types of construction projects that may include new construction, building renovations, airfields, and civil works. This work will require frequent and recurring construction inspections, which includes walking, climbing, stooping and bending at various elevations and uneven terrain.

Skills / Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience providing construction QA/QC on large complex multimillion-dollar projects – USACE projects.
  • Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications and applying them to ensure that contractor QC programs are in place and meeting project requirements
  • Knowledge of safety regulations is required (OSHA 30 and knowledge of EM385-1-1 is preferred).
  • Experience with using the USACE Resident Management System (RMS) to document quality on a daily basis is preferred.
  • Experience with the USACE 3 phase quality process is required – USACE CQMC certification preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be a US Citizen, this position requires the successful applicant to be a U.S. Citizen.
