Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting a Junior Water Resources Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our team in Nashville, TN.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Conducting field investigations
  • Performing engineering calculations
  • Hydrologic and hydraulic computer modeling
  • Assisting in analysis and design studies
  • Producing written and oral reports

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering required; ideally, Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering; Master of Science preferred
  • Engineer Intern experience preferred
  • 2 - 4 years experience required in the following knowledge sets:
    • HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, EPA SWMM, PCSWMM, XPSWMM, InfoSWMM, ICPR, SRH-2D, and/ or other hydrologic and hydraulic 1D/ 2D modeling suites
    • Technical writing and communication skills
    • GIS Analyses
    • Statistical Analyses
    • Stormwater Modeling
