Overview / Responsibilities

Wood Environment & Infrastructure Americas (E&IA) has an exciting opportunity for an Oil & Gas Market Segment Leader to support the ongoing development of our oil and client portfolio. This role is designed to advance our energy transition services, cross sell TCS/ASA/E&IA, develop an industry due diligence services and manage key accounts.

 

The ideal candidate has strong oil and gas client relationships, has developed and implemented strategy to position consulting services within the oil and gas market and has an ability to coalesce teams to secure significant business opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Energy Transition:
    • Develop full understanding E&IA and TCS services
    • Develop an integrated energy transition value proposition for E&IA and our Oil & Gas clients
    • Promote/Sell our energy transition services across our CMF/TCMF/MCAP clients
    • Develop partnerships with suppliers/vendors in support of our value proposition
  • Cross Selling TCS/ASA/E&IA:
    • Develop ASA and TCS “account development plans”
    • Build relationships with ASA/TCS S&D leads
    • Establish annual sales targets for TCS and ASA
    • Monitor & manage major TCS and ASA opportunities to success
    • Develop leads for major construction, infrastructure and consulting opportunities
    • Coalesce & lead capture teams to secure strategic or significant opportunities
    • Assure internal governance processes are aligned with significant opportunities
    • Achieve annual sales targets
  • Industry Asset Due Diligence Services:
    • Develop our Oil & Gas Asset Due Diligence practice
    • Develop & implement a marketing plan
    • Integrate oil & gas asset due diligence with E&IA due diligence services
    • Establish and exceed annual sales target
  • Client Leadership & Development:
    • Manage selected major accounts
    • Develop and manage client account development plans
    • Conduct routine communication and executive interviews with major accounts
    • Support our Managed Client Account Program (MCAP)
    • Establish and exceed annual sales targets for assigned clients
  • Sector Leadership & Development:
    • Support Sector Leader to design & implement market sector strategy
    • Manage & maintain internal reporting including CRM, TOPPs and Strategic Initiative
    • Collaborate with operations and S&D collegium
    • Facilitate and participate in regular scheduled business develop status meetings

Skills / Qualifications

Role Requirements

  • M.S. or M.B.A. in applicable science or engineering
  • 10+ years of related experience within the oil and gas market
  • Current relationships within the market with key clients
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships and win work
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong team building skills both internally and externally
  • Motivated to develop business from new and existing clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Business Suite Applications and project scheduling tools
  • Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
  • Willing to work from Houston, Texas
