Overview / Responsibilities

Desired candidate will have a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree and preferrably experience in siting, installation, operation, maintenance, calibration and repair of ambient air quality and meterological monitoring or analogous equipment and associated data loggers. Performs and documents calibration, certification and repairs of ambient air quality monitoring equipment and analyzers in a laboratory and field enviornment.  Career track with ample oppurtunity for advancement and assumption of project management duties. Must be able to travel up to 30% during first two years of employment.

Skills / Qualifications

Computer and mechanical skills and experience, excellent written and verbal communication and detrailed record keeping skills required; electronics troubleshooting and repair capabilities desireable. Computer networking or atmopheric chemistry knowledge desireable.  Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

 

Education

BS in Environmental Engineering or Science, Atmpospheric Science or related scientific field

 

Experience

Skilled in basic field sampling and analysis procedures and techniques

0-2 years of relevant experience
